PARF in Action: PARF is urging its representatives in the U.S. Congress to assure that medical rehabilitation services in Pennsylvania are supported in any health care reform bill that emerges from Congress and is signed into law … PARF is pushing for health insurance reforms nationally that offer people with disabilities more access to health care and community supports…PARF is calling on Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell to announce that despite a difficult state economy the budget for upcoming fiscal year 2010-2011 will fund services as needed by people with disabilities … PARF is supporting new initiatives in supported education, career development and employment of people with disabilities throughout Pennsylvania… PARF has joined with state advocacy groups in  developing a Pennsylvania legislative initiative to gain recognition and support for survivors of brain injury … PARF begins 2010 at its new headquarters at 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
