PARF in Action: PARF is urging its representatives in the Pennsylvania legislature and the U.S. Congress to support rehabilitation services  in health, human services, education, and employment programs… PARF is monitoring the implementation of health insurance reforms at the national and state level so that people with disabilities have increased access to health care and community supports…PARF is calling on Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and  state legislators to approve a state budget for fiscal year 2010-2011 that will fund services needed by people with disabilities… PARF is supporting new initiatives in supported education, career development and employment of people with disabilities throughout Pennsylvania… PARF has joined with state advocacy groups in  developing a Pennsylvania legislative initiative to gain recognition and support for survivors of brain injury.
