About Parf

Welcome to PARF. The Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (PARF) is a statewide organization of facilities serving individuals with physical, mental, social and/or emotional disabilities. Since 1969, PARF has been actively working toward improving the availability, accessibility and quality of rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities across the Commonwealth.

Corporate membership in the Association is open to agencies in the Commonwealth that provide a rehabilitation program in one or more of the following areas: medical, psychological, social, residential, educational, vocational and employment rehabilitation.

Services and benefits to PARF members:

Information resources to increase members ability to become more successful in a constantly changing environment

  • Committee and division meetings regularly meet on a quarterly basis.
  • Working groups are formed to address very specific issues.
  • Representation and advocacy with state agencies and the Legislature to influence public policy that promotes rehabilitation services.
  • Publications containing current developments and news on issues affecting rehabilitation providers.
  • Education and training through an annual conference and regional training seminars held throughout the year.
  • Resources on fiscal and human resource issues.
  • Partnerships developed to provide member services responsive to providers needs.
